American actor Alexandra Hetherington Breckenridge. She started her acting career as a supporting actress in the teen comedy films Big Fat Liar (2002, 2006) and She's the Man (2006). In the following years, she played the character of reporter Willa McPherson on FX's series Dirt. She also played an important role in the FX's short-lived drama The Ex List. She was Kaylee, a young Moira in the initial season of on FX's American Horror Story. She was Jessie Anderson on AMC's The Walking Dead and Sophie on the NBC show This Is Us. She also voiced of several characters from the comedy show Family Guy. Since 2019she has been appearing in the role of Melinda "Mel" Monroe in the Netflix series Virgin River. Breckenridge resided in Darien, Connecticut, until when she was 10 when she and her mom moved to California. There, they moved around for a year before settling in Mill Valley. Breckenridge was 13 when she started to develop an interest in photography, acting and singing. She relocated to Los Angeles with her mother at the age of 15 to pursue her acting career.
